How about a nice crap sandwich?

I’ve been watching the Pro  Gun Rally in Virginia and the days leading up to it and I have some observations  that seem to be passing right by every person who has an opinion and a stand on the issue.

First, The Commonwealth of Virginia (fancy word that really means state) has a Governor, state Senators and what appear to be a lower house that they refer to as delegates very much like every state in the Union. There are 95 counties in Virginia, and an equal number of representatives are selected by the voters to represent their district. So far this isn’t rocket science.

There is a governor, and his power is not that far removed from other states governors, fill vacancy, sign legislation into law, meet dignitaries and so forth. The current governor is an anti gunner, not too surprised about that, he made it know before he was elected that he was on an anti gun crusade. For what it’s worth, he is a Democrat, a Dr. and an Army veteran.

There is a majority of Democrats controlling the state legislature, and they are predominately anti gunners too. This too was well known prior to them being elected.
This brings us to this past week’s activity and the days leading up to it.

I have heard some of the people of Virginia are really upset over laws that have recently been passed and signed by the Governor into law. Why are they surprised? They voted in the people that did this to them. I was going to go and join in on the protest but the more I thought about it, the more inclined I’m content to let them stew in the juice of their own making.

First of all, do touch my guns! Come for them and you will receive the bullets first. Given in love of course! Second, do you even recognize why this happened? Think about it for a minute, if this is such an important issue for Virginians, why were they so content with allow these people to take over the state legislature? This can’t be the thoughts of Virginia citizens; when of the 95 counties 93 of the Sheriffs of these counties have declared their county to be 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties.

You are really pissed about taking away your gun rights, yet YOU allowed it because the one right that guarantees your OTHER rights was more than likely not exercised.

Have you guessed it yet? Did you people vote? Did you research the candidates? Did you vote? Did you know what they stood for? If you did, DID YOU VOTE!!!!!

If you didn’t, keep your bitching down, I don’t want to hear it. There is no reason for you to allow other people serve you up a crap sandwich and then not be happy about it. Bad politicians make bad choices.

I don’t take political polls, I still believe in the secret ballot. But I can assure you, there has never been an election that I was eligible to participate in that I didn’t. Since I turned 18, I have waited long hours to cast my vote; some people find other things more pressing. I dare say that the freedom to declare your opinion on the future is about as pressing as things can be. Virginia is a case study in this.

Good luck Virginia, keep your gun laws that the people who didn’t bother to vote, allowed themselves to be placed under.
